2 workers electrocuted

Kancheepuram, Feb 11 (UNI) Two construction workers were electrocuted in a freak mishap today.

Police said the workers were engaged in foundation laying work when they lifted iron bars to be laid in the ground.

In the process, the iron bars hit the overhead cables electrocuting the workers.

One of the deceased was identified as Sivakumar (48), they added.
