2 killed, 2 hurt in mishap

Villupuram, Tami Nadu, Feb 11 (UNI) Two persons were killed and two injured when a mini lorry in which they were travelling hit a lorry near Vikravandi near here early today.

Police said Ganesan (41) of Theerthakarai Village in Madurai District, his wife Krishnaveni (24), daughter Seenupriya and brother Marimuthu were proceeding to their native from Tiruvottiyur here when the mishap occurred.

The deceased were identified as mini-lorry driver Cholaiappan and Ganesan.

The injured were admitted to Government Headquarters Hospital here, police added.
