MP minister ill

Dewas, MP, Feb 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Higher and Technical Education Minister Tukojirao Pawar was rushed to Indore for treatment after suddenly taking ill this morning.

The minister collapsed at his residence Anand Bhavan after suffering giddiness at 1030 hrs. He was scheduled to attend a programme in this district headquarters.

Mr Pawar was first taken to a local hospital where Chief Medical Officer Sharad Pandit and specialists, including a cardiologist, examined him.

''The minister is suffering high blood pressure. The fall slightly injured a rib,'' said Dr Pandit.
