Italian PM to arrive tomorrow
Chennai, Feb 9 (UNI) Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi will arrive here tomorrow on a two-day visit to the city.
According to the revised programme, Mr Prodi would arrive from Rome by a special aircraft at 1030 hrs and leave for Bangalore at 1430 hrs on February 11, after completing his programmes.
During his stay, the Prime Minister would participate at a function organised by the University of Madras and deliver the Sesquicentennial Commemorative Lecture tomorrow at 1530 hrs.
The Prime Minister would also inaugurate the UNOM-Pirandello Resource Centre for Italian Studies and 'The Ancient Rome and India Exhibition' at the University tomorrow.
After meeting Indian entrepreneurs and Italian nationals, Mr Prodi would attend a dinner hosted by Tamil Nadu Governor S S Barnala at Raj Bhavan tomorrow evening.
On February 11, he would attend mass at St Thomas Church and after lunch, emplane for Bangalore by a special aircraft at 1430 hrs.
