Couple commits suicide in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Feb 9 (UNI) A couple allegedly commited suicide by setting themselves on fire at Narande village in Hatkanangale tehsil here.

The deceased couple Appa Shiva Bhore (40) and his wife Sunita (35), residents of Malwadi area, commited suicide in their house last night after a domestic quarrel, police here today said.

The couple, who used to work as labourers, were immediately rushed to Chhatrapati Pramila Raje Civil hospital here, where they succumbed to their injuries, police said.

They are survived by a seven-year-old son, they added.
