CII-Yi Hyderabad Chapter to launch 2 Yi ARCs

Hyderabad, Feb 9 (UNI) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)-Yi Hyderabad Chapter would launch two Yi Akshara Resource Centre (ARCs) here tomorrow.

Director and Head CII Andhra Pradesh, Dr Saugat Mukherjee in a statement said India was one of the 164 countries that signed the millennium pact which vowed to improve primary education by 2015.

One of the main findings of the report on education was that primary school children were dropping out of school and there were inadequate resources at that level, he added.

Yi Akshara aimed to address both concerns and provide resources to aid both teachers and students to avail of quality education.
