Bus stoned in Anand

Anand, Feb 9 (UNI) One passenger was seriously injured, when a bus in which he was travelling was subjected to stone pelting by unidentified persons, three kms away from Anand Toll Naka.

The injured, Bilal Abdulbhai Sheikh, was severely hurt with head injuries and the driver and co-driver of the bus were also hit in the incident.

A bus of V K Travels had left Chaphi village in Banaskantha on its way to Mumbai yesterday. While it had just passed Anand toll naka, some miscreants started pelting stones.

Anand rural police said that it was an attempt to rob the bus.
