Blast at Palestinian petrol station kills 6-police
RAMALLAH, West Bank, Feb 8 (Reuters) An explosion killed at least six people and wounded about 20 today at a Palestinian petrol station in the occupied West Bank, security officials said.
The blast, in the town of Ramallah, was apparently caused by sparks from an electrical tool being used by workers at the station, police said.
Rescue workers pulled the bodies of a woman and her son and nephew from the wreckage later today, raising the death toll to six, a security official said.
Three people were announced dead earlier in the day. The official said more people were trapped under the rubble.
