AP: YSR's close associate escapes attempt on life

Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), Feb 9: One person was killed and twoothers were seriously injured when an unidentified person opened fireon former MLA C K Babu, a close associate of Andhra Pradesh ChiefMinister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, here today.

Police said Mr Babu, however, escaped unhurt in the bid on his life.

The injured were shifted to the government hospital.
