Madhya Pradesh: 18,000 new TB patients found

Bhopal, Feb 9: More than 18,000 new tuberculosis patients have been found in Madhya Pradesh in the past three months.

Treatment under the Dots method is being provided to 18,428 new TB patients, official sources said today.

Recovery rate of 84 percent has been recorded among the TBpatients at present as compared to only 40 percent in 1998, the sourcesadded.
