18,000 new TB patients found in MP

Bhopal, Feb 9 (UNI) More than 18,000 new tuberculosis cases have been detected in Madhya Pradesh in the past three months.

Treatment under the Dots method is being provided to 18,428 new TB patients, official sources said today.

Recovery rate of 84 per cent has been recorded among the patients at present as compared to only 40 per cent in 1998, the sources added.
