Patna, Feb 08 (UNI) The state unit Samjawadi Party (SP) today criticised JD (U) national spokesman Shivanand Tiwari for lambasting Railway Minister Lalu Prasad on corruption, saying he had no right to talk on the issue.

Party spokesman Surendra Kumar Swatantra told reporters here that issue based politics should be preferred to personality based allegations.

''Mr Tiwari always levels charges of corruptions against Mr Prasad while he was himself a minister during RJD regime which was one of the most corrupt regime so far,'' he added.

Mr Swatantra also alleged that Mr Tiwari had been in habit of indulging in politics of defection, which indicated 'true colour of his personality'.

''Mr Tiwari should give up the politics of 'opportunism' and devote his time to raise the issues that were affecting the interests of the common man,'' he added.
