Moga SSP transfered

Chandigarh, Feb 8 (UNI) The Election Commission has ordered transfer of Senior Superintendent of Police of Moga district, Mr Gautam Cheema, with immediate effect.

In a communication to the Punjab Chief Secretary, the EC instructed him that Mr Cheema should be relieved with immediate effect and transfered out of the district, a spokesman of the State election Office here said.

The EC also directed the Chief Secretary that SSP, Faridkot, may be assigned the additional charge of Moga district till a substitute was posted in Moga district.
