Missionary school stoned

Ujjain, MP, Feb 8 (UNI) Tension prevailed at this district's Badnagar tehsil headquarters, about 30 km from here, after a mob damaged a missionary school in the wake of a truck crushing two siblings, including a girl, this afternoon.

Nitika (4) and Krishanpal Singh (6) were mowed down while returning from the school. Stone-pelting began after locals held the school management responsible for the tragedy. Police unleashed a cane-charge to disperse the agitators and traders shut their shops.

''The driver surrendered at the police station and was arrested.

The situation is under control,'' said Superintendent of Police Jaideep Prasad.
