Collector stops salaries to ten engineers

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Feb 8 (UNI) West Godavari District Collector Lav Agarwal today issued orders to stop salaries to ten engineers for derelection of duty in implementing the Indiramma housing scheme.

The Collector also expressed anger over their absence in the review meeting of the scheme.

Presiding over the review meeting held at the Collectorate, he said he would write a letter to the Commissioner of Panchayat Raj to take action against the ten engineers including two executive engineers of Pancjayat Raj and rural water supply.

He also asked the tresury officer to stop paying the salaries to them.
