Woman strangulated to death

Kolhapur, Feb 7 (UNI) A 50-year-old woman was strangulated to death by unidentified robbers at her residence here today.

The woman has been identified as Bhagyashree Bhagwan Joshi-Astekar, police said.

The woman was alone in her house at that time. Police have yet to ascertain whether the crime was committed by a single person or whether more than one person was involved. The total amount of valuables looted from the house is also yet to be ascertained.
