Vigilance raids on DG Homeguard's residences
Patna, Feb 7 (UNI) Vigilance sleuths here today raided the residence of Bihar's Director General of Homeguard (DGH) Narayan Mishra in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
Inspector General of Vigilance A K Upadhyaya said a case was lodged in the vigilance against the Mr Mishra amassing wealth disproportionate to the known sources of his income.
The Hazaribagh and Gaya residences of Mr Mishra, who had earlier served as the state's Director General of Police, were also raided simultaneously, Mr Upadhyaya told newsmen here.
However, he refused to disclose the seizures saying it would be revealed only after analysis of the documents and things recovered during the raid.
