Two communities clash in Nadiad
Nadiad, Feb 7 (UNI) Five persons were injured when members of two communities clashed at Malarpura area in Nadiad.
The incident happened last night after a cricket match among the local boys, when one of them, who had gone to a local housing society dominated by the minority community to retreive a cricket ball, was reprimanded by a resident for entering the society, after the boy's friends began throwing stones at a dog chasing the boy.
Soon the incident took a violent turn and members of other community, attacked residents of the housing society besides damaging vehicles with iron rods and sticks.
Members of both the communities filed counter complaints at Nadiad police station.
