Three killed in tanker-car collision

Churu, Feb 7 (UNI) Three people, including a woman, were killed when a tanker collided with a car in this district of Rajasthan this morning.

According to police, the accident occurred in Mailusar village, 2 km from Sadarshahr under Bhaleri police station.

Police station in charge Mahendra Singh said the accident happened due to fog around 0700 hrs.

The car occupants -- Sampat Mal Baid, 54, Sayar Devi,50, and driverYogesh 24 -- who were residents of Delhi, died on the spot.

They originally hailed from Sardarshahr.

The tanker driver fled from the scene.

Police are investigating.
