Speeding truck crushes 40-yr-old to death

Rajkot, Feb 7: A 40-year-old motor-cyclist was killed when he was knocked down by a speeding truck at 150 feet ring round in the city, police sources said.

Following the incident last night, people assembled at the accident site and torched the truck. The truck driver, however, managed to escape.

A police party rushed to the spot and resorted to lathi charge to disperse the angry mob. The situation was brought under control after an hour, sources said.

The deceased has been identified as Hansraj Patel, they added.
