SBH to open 44 branches across country: GM

Rajahmundry, Feb 7: State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) will open another 44 branches across the country in the next 18 months, taking the total number of branches to 1000, SBH General Manager (Operations) Supratik Chatterjee said today.

Talking to media after opening the bank's 956 branch here, he said it had registered a business volume of Rs 65,000 crore in the country during the current fiscal as against its target of Rs 69,000 crore.

He said the SBH was one of the three banks in the country that achieved the Finance Ministry's set performance index, including good capital adequacy and a Net Performing Asset of zero.

Apart from an MoU with UTI Mutual Fund to sell mutual funds, the bank had tied-up with General Insurance and United India Insurance.
