Priyanka urges case transfer

Indore, Feb 7 (UNI) Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra today urged that a case against her father Ashok Chopra and herself be transferred here from this district's Military Headquarters Of War (MHOW) for security reasons.

The actress' MHOW-resident former private secretary Prakash Jaju had alleged that the duo threatened to kill him. Defence Counsel Chandrashekhar Raikwar submitted the transfer application to the chief judicial magistrate (CJM) here. The CJM issued a notice to Mr Jaju who is to present his side of the matter on February 15.

A financial transaction is at the root of a festering dispute between Priyanka and Mr Jaju. The actress has lodged a complaint in Mumbai. Priyanka and her father have been summoned to MHOW.
