Prashanti Express to run upto Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Feb 07 (UNI) The Bangalore-Visakhapatnam-Bangalore Prasanti Express will now be extended upto Bhubaneswar from February 20 next with 21 coaches instead of existing 18 coaches as per the announcement in last Railway Budget.

According to East Coast Railways (ECoR) sources, the 8563 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Prasanti Express would leave Bhubaneswar at 0415 hours and reach Bangalore next day at 1000 hours.

It would stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon,Chatrapur, Brahmapur, Palasa, Naupad, Srikakulam,Vizianagaram,Visakhapatnam, Duvvada and Vijayawada.

In the return direction the 8564 Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prasanti Express will leave Bangalore at 1400 hours and arrive Bhubaneswar at 2055 hours.

The train would have the composition of one AC-2 tier, two AC-3 tiers, 11 Sleeper Classes, 04 General Second Classes Coaches, 02 Guard cum Luggage Vans and one Pantry Car.

The ECoR has also decided to run Goods trains on the newly constructed Broad-gauge Railway line from Keonjhar to Tomka of the Daitari-Banspani Railway project from February 10 next.

People have been requested to be vigilant and cautious while passing through unmanned level crossings from Keonjhar to Tomka section located in Keonjhar and Jajpur districts.

In another decision, the ECoR has decided to run one trip Special Train between Bhubaneswar and Chennai Egmore on February 12 next to clear extra rush of passengers.

The special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 2200 hours on February 12 and arrive Chennai Egmore the next day at 20 00 hours.
