As contingency grants, scholars doing research in Science subjects will receive Rs 10,000 a year and those doing research in Humanities and Social Sciences, Rs 8,000 a year.
The Central Universities have been advised to go for full coverage of the Scheme and decide the actual number of fellowships and date of implementation of the scheme.
