Mulayam meets Beni to settle dispute with minister

Barabanki, UP, Feb 7 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today met Samajwadi Party (SP) general secretary Beni Prasad Verma to clear the misunderstandings which had arisen after the murder of a Samajwadi Party (SP) leader.

According to sources, Both the leaders had a conversation for around half an hour at Mr Verma's house in Sisrauli Gauspur area.

On December 28 last, SP Zila Panchayat member Ram Bhoolan Verma was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Bahraich.

Later, Mr Verma had alleged that state Labour Minister Waqar Ahmed Shah was behind the crime.

Last month, Mr Verma had announced not to talk to SP supremo after no action was taken against the accused.
