IT raids on building contractor's premises

Jaipur, Feb 7 (UNI) Income Tax officials conducted simultaneous raids at 10 different premises of a road builder contractor in four cities today.

Ranjit Singh, officer-in-charge, from Udaipur told UNI that the raids began around 0800 hrs in the morning at five places in Udaipur, two sites in Chittorgarh, one in Jaipur and two in Jodhpur.

D S Chopra, director, Investigations, Jaipur, confirmed the raids, however, said the asset details would be available later.

He said the raids at the offices, properties and premises of the contractor are currently on.
