Industrial workers to settle issues through dialogues: Valsaraj

Puducherry, Feb 7 (UNI) Puducherry Health and Labour Minister E Valsaraj today called upon the industrial workers to strive to settle their issues through proper dialogues.

Inaugurating the 20th one-day training programme on "industrial harmony" here, Mr Valsaraj said the labour disputes which was 330 had come down to 66.

The Special Economic Zone (SEZ) would be started here soon, he said, adding the Centre had given clearence to set up all sorts of industries in the union territory.

The administration would lay a six-lane road from the SEZ to Port. It was holding discussions with the Tamil Nadu government to get adequate land for the expansion of runway of the Puducherry Airport, he added.
