Hyundai awards "Quality 5 Star" to three vendors

Chennai, Feb 7 (UNI) Auto major Hyundai Motor India has given 'Quality 5 Star' certification to three overseas vendors for their outstanding contribution towards attaining 'global quality levels'.

According to a company release here, the three vendors Visteon, Kyungshin Industrial Motherson Ltd and Engelhard were awarded with five star certification.

It was for the first time that Hyundai had given the five star certification to three overseas vendor companies.

Quality five star grading systems was one such innovation, which helped periodically review and evaluate quality standards of vendors, the release quoted Hyundai Motor India Ltd Managing Director H S Lheem as saying.

He said the five star rating not only boosted the image and pride of vendors but also ensured good and continuous business association with Hyundai.
