HC restricts declaration of PCS (J) results

Allahabad, Feb 7 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court today directed the Public Service Commission, Allahabad, not to declare the result of the PCS (J) preliminary examination held on December 31 last.

The bench comprising Justices Amitava Lal and V C Mishra passed the order on a writ petition filed by Sanjay Pathak, a candidate of the PCS(J) examination.

The counsel for the PCS was heard before passing the order, staying the declaration of the results of the preliminary examination of the PCS (J).

Advocate General SMA Kazmi appeared before the HC and argued on behalf of the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The Bench fixed Feburary 19 for the next hearing of the case.
