Govt orders enquiry into derogatory reference against RSS

Jaipur, Feb 7 (UNI) The Rajasthan government has ordered an enquiry into the incident of a defamatory reference against the RSS in a government publication, on the third anniversary of the Vasundhara Raje-led government in the state.

The enquiry by Principal Secretary, Department of Public Relations and Home VS Singh will look into the lapses leading to the derogatory reference against RSS in the publication 'Aaina,' a compilation of articles published by the Department, a senior official said.

The articles while lauding the leadership of Ms Vasundhara Raje, has said the Chief Minister was able to challenge the fundamentalist approach of the RSS in Rajasthan.

Mr Bhawani Singh Rajawat, Parliamentary Secretary and incharge of Department of Public Relations said Deputy Director (Publications) P K Meena was put on 'awaited posting orders' (APOs) and principal secretary would conduct an enquiry in to the lapses.
