Efforts on for unanimity on Sachar recommedation: Tariq

Ranchi, Feb 7 (UNI) All India Quami Tanzim President Tariq Anwar today said efforts would be intensified to make unanimity prevail all over the country and recommendations of Sachar committee be implemented as soon as possible.

Urging the Centre to implement the recommendations for protection of the Muslims, Mr Anwar said the Sachar Committee report exposed the real status of the community in the country.

Speaking at a conference held here on the issue, the Tanzim president said the Muslims comprised 15 per cent of the total population in India and their condition was worse than that of the dalits.

He demanded better education for the community and separate budget allocation as well.
