Doctors should work for upliftment of the society : Nitish

Patna, Feb 7 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today called upon the doctors to work for the upliftment of the society besides their routine responsibility for treatment of various ailments.

Addressing the 40th convention of Urological society here, Mr Kumar said that human resource was the most precious and state government was working sincerely for improvement in education and health sectors for enriching it for development of the state.Several steps had been taken to improve the infrastructural facilities like road, electricity, and irrigation facilities, he added.

'' People of Bihar are well known for their talents in India and abroad'' he said adding intelligence level of the Biharis were higher not withstanding the fact that state lagged behind the other developed states on several fronts.If the opportunities were given, the people could prove their talents and earn laurels for their state and the nation, he added.

Mr Kumar exhorted all the delegates to act as brand ambassadors of the state and inform the people across the nation about the ongoing changes in Bihar which had ushered a new era of development of prosperity.The delopment of Bihar should now be concern of the nation and every one should play its role achieving it.
