CM lays foundation stone of yet another flyover

New Delhi, Feb 7 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today laid foundation stone of a Mangolpuri Flyover at Mangolpuri crossing on Outer Ring Road in East Delhi.

The new flyover, costing Rs 40 crore, was expected to be completed by June 2008 and facilitate smooth flow of traffic during the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Mangolpuri crossing was one of the busiest junctions. It catered for traffic from NH-10 to NH-1 and vice versa, and from Mangolpuri Industrial Area Phase-1 and Phase-II.

Public Works Department Minister A K Walia was also present on this occasion.
