Cauvery: 25 pro-Kannada activists arrested

Bangalore, Feb 7 (UNI) Police arrested 25 pro-Kannada agitators for staging a demonstration against the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal's final award, near the airport here today.

According to police at the airport, the demonstrators, holding placards, shouted slogans against the Union and Tamil Nadu Governments in protest against the verdict.

They were arrested and released later, police added.
