Bikers killed in road accident

Puducherry, Feb 7 (UNI) Two persons hailing from Keezhaputhur in Tiruchirappalli district of Tamil Nadu, riding on a two-wheeler were killed when a government-owned bus hit them.

According to police, Pooviraj (45) and Natesan (55), working in an oil mill at Thirubhuvanai near here were hit by the Puducherry-bound bus from Villupuram after filling up petrol from a bunk at Madagaipattu late last night.

The two, who were rushed to the government general hospital here succumbed to injuries this morning.
