Baba Arts, Moser Baer sign pact

Hyderabad, Feb 7 (UNI) Mumbai based Baba Arts Limited has signed an agreement with Moser Baer to exclusively manufacture, market and distribute over 450 Telugu titles of Baba Arts Ltd.

Under the agreement signed, Moser Baer will manufacture, market and distribute VCDs and DVDs of these titles in India for a period of eight years.

Baba Arts Chairman and Managing Director Gordhan Tanwani, in a statement said, ''Telugu video market is very buoyant and growing fast. Seeing the market potential of the titles and Moser Baer's manufacturing capabilities and marketing skills, we have gone in for this tie-up.'' Baba Arts Limited entered the Telugu genre in home entertainment in 2006.

"We are a focussed company and there is abundant scope for us to closely work with Moser Baer and exploit our repertoire," he added.
