Anant slams UPA for inflation

Bhopal, Feb 7 (UNI) Holding the Centre's Congress-led United Progressive Alliance regime responsible for spiralling inflation, Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary and Madhya Pradesh incharge Anant Kumar today said the BJP would conduct a countrywide 'Dam Roko Andolan' from March 23 to April 15.

''The centre has shortsighted and erroneous economic policies. It has failed on every front and that has led to a spurt in terrorism,'' he said while inaugurating a two-day meeting of the BJP's state working committee here.

Urging BJP workers to convey details of the state government's achievements to the masses, Mr Kumar praised the regime for its work.

The party's Madhya Pradesh unit President Narendra Singh Tomar also spoke on the occasion.
