2 'kanwariyas' killed in UP road mishap

Barabanki, Feb 7 (UNI) Two persons were killed and as many as seriously injured after they were hit by a speeding roadways bus in this district of Uttar Pradesh today.

The mishap occurred on Barabanki-Bahraich highway under Masauli police station area, where two 'Kanwariyas' -- both siblings -- were cushed to death by the roadways bus, when they were on way to ancient Lodeshwar Mahadev temple from Kanpur.

The injured were rushed to hospital in a critical condition, police said.

The deceased were identified as Gyan Prakash and Hari Swaroop.
