13 arrested as illegal casino unearthed

New Delhi, Feb 7 (UNI) Opening new frontiers against crime in the city, police have unearthed an illegal casino in Shakarpur area of East Delhi and arrested 13 people, including its owner.

More than Rs three lakh in cash, 50 casino coins, 12 dices and a pack of playing cards were seized in the search carried out at Lalita Park in Shakarpur, said the police today.

Thirteen businessmen, including the casino owner Rajesh Sharma, were arrested following a search warrant, the police added.
