Russian soldier shoots two others, then himself
MOSCOW, Feb 6 (Reuters) A soldier in Russia's North Caucasus region today shot dead two other servicemen before shooting himself, a military spokesman told Reuters.
Igor Konashenkov declined to comment on the shooter's possible motivation.
''So far I can only state the facts. No other comment,'' he said. ''A commission has arrived and is working.'' At least 1,000 Russian conscripts die each year in non-combat incidents, including widespread cases of bullying and suicide.
