CPI MLAs arrested
Nalgonda, Andhra Pradesh, Feb 6 (UNI) Two MLAs of Communist Party of India (CPI) and other activists were arrested when they tried to lay siege to the Collectorate, in protest against increase in the prices of essential commodities in the state.
The CPI activists led by Munugodu MLA P Venkat Reddy and Devarakonda MLA Ravindrakumar reached the collectorate to organise picketing demanding the government to take steps to reduce the prices of all essential commodities.
Later, the CPI activists tried to lay siege to the Collectorate.
