Vinay Katiyar to protest BJP MP's arrest
Mirzapur, Feb 5 (UNI) Bhartiya Janata Party General Secretary Vinay Katiyar today said he would would march to riot-torn Gorkahpur town on February 8 to protest the arrest of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Yogi Adityanath.
Talking to mediapersons after having 'darshan' at the famous Vindhyavasini shrine here, Mr Katiyar said a large number of party activists and saints across the country would take part in the march which would start from Ghazipur. ''I have prayed to Goddess Vindhyavasini to end Ravan Raj in UP'' UP police is ''dancing'' on the tune of Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav. By getting Mr Yogi arrested, CM has insulted the Hindus, Mr Katiyar alleged.
''Uttar Pradesh government is anti-Hindu. During the last three year of SP's rule, it did nothing for the Hindus. Now, Hindus are aware and they would not tolerate the Muslim appeasement policy of Mr Yadav,'' he further alleged.
The BJP MP Yogi Adityanath was arrested for violating section 144 (prohibitory orders) in the riot racked Gorakhpur recently and was remanded into two week judicial custody by a court on February 2.
