Veerendra Kumar chosen as best Kannadiga outside dstate

New Delhi, Feb 5 (UNI) Janata Dal (S) leader and Lok Sabha member from Kerala M P Veerendra Kumar has been chosen as the 'Best Outside Kannadiga' by a Delhi Kannada publication.

'Dehali Kannadiga', a Kannada monthly from New Delhi, has picked up Mr Veerendra Kumar, the Chairman and Managing Director of Mathrubhoomi group of newspapers, for the 24th Kannada Conference to be held here on April 7.

Similarly, Syndicate Bank Chairman C P Swarnakar has been chosen as the Best Banker an award instituted in the name of former minister T A Pai. Prof M S Rajan, a former Jawahar Lal University professor, has been nominated for the best Delhi Kannadiga award, Mr M B Samaga, Editor of the newspaper said in a statement.
