Trade volume high at NCDEX

Mumbai, Feb 5 (UNI) About 583 members (2,725 users) of National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd (NCDEX) today participated in trading up to 1700 hrs and volumes were Rs 2,129 crore (one-way).

There were 79,540 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseeds, chana, refined soy oil, pepper and jeera, a NCDEX release said here.

On February 3, about 560 members participated in trading and put through 71,311 trades. The volume of trading on that day till 1400 hrs was around Rs 2,063 crore (one-way). Active trades were in guarseed, chana, refined soy oil, gold, jeera and pepper, the release added.
