Security tightened across delta districts

Tiruchirapalli, Feb 5 (UNI) Security has been tightened across Cauvery delta districts in Tamil Nadu in view of Cauvery Tribunal's Final Award today.

Talking to UNI, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Central Zone M S Jaffar Sait said all precautionary measures were in place to check any untoward incident.

Meanwhile, public entry to Mettur Reservior was temporarily suspended and security was strengthened, sources said.
