Rajmata Brijrajnandini devi dead

Bhavnagar, Gujarat, Feb 5 (UNI) Brijrajnandini Devi, Rajmata of erstwhile princely state of Bhavnagar, died after a brief illness at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai today, family sources said.

The 63-year-old Rajmata was suffering from malaria and was shifted to Mumbai some days back.

She is survived by her son, Vijayrajsinh.

According to the sources, the funeral would take place tomorrow.

The Rajmata was very active in social and sports activities.

Her death was condoled by city Mayor Mehul Vadodaria, BJP MP Rajendrasinh Rana and local MLAs Mahendra Trivedi and Sunil Oza.
