PSL commissions pipe mill at Jaipur

New Delhi, Feb 5 (UNI) PSL Ltd, engaged in various types of pipe coating and pipe manufacturing, today announced the commissioning of its newly installed pipe mill at Jaipur.

''The initial output capability of the mill will be 75,000 MT per annum which is proposed to be expanded to 150,000 MT per annum within this calendar year, provided the market expectations stand confirmed,'' company's Managing Director Ashok Punj said.

The mill will be fully enabled to meet the requirements from all sectors including the growing oil and gas sectors in Rajasthan.

Considering the recent plethora of findings in the state it should transform into an extensive pipeline programme by the oil companies such as ONGC, GAIL, Cairn Energy, etc, Mr Punj added.

The company is engaged in various types of pipe coating and pipe manufacturing with plants across Daman, Kandla, Nani Chirai, Chennai, Varsana and Vishakhapatnam.
