PM arrives for night stay in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Feb 5 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is on a two-day election tour to Punjab, arrived for a night stay at the state Raj Bhavan here this evening.

Dr Singh campaigned for Congress candidates in Amritsar and Jalandhar today.

He will address election meetings at Patiala and Ludhiana tomorrow before returning to the national capital.

Chief Minister Amarinder Singh is locked in an 18-cornered contest in Patiala town.
