One held with bogus visa at airport

Chennai, Feb 5 (UNI) Airport police arrested a person on charges of attempting to leave the country with a bogus visa at Anna International Airport here last night.

Police said Bubinder Singh (27), hailing from Punjab, wanted to go to Canada by a Lufthansa flight. On submitting the travel documents, immigration authorities found his Canadian visa to be bogus.

Later, he was handed over to local police. He was remanded in judicial custody.
