Mishap kills 2, hurts 36

Betul, MP, Feb 5 (UNI) Two women were killed on the spot and 36 injured, nine of them critically, after a tractor-trolley carrying pilgrims overturned on the Chikhli Kala road near this district's Ridhora village, the police said.

The deceased were identified as Kagli Bai (50) and her daughter Amila (18) while the injured were admitted to the district hospital yesterday.

The pilgrims were heading for a temple in Dhangori from Chhindwara district's Narasla village. A case was registered against the driver Mohanlal Gaud.
